In collaboration with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), our sister organization, Hadhreen Sudan expanded its home-based farming initiative to empower 129 women in Khartoum and Sennar states to grow food within their own households.
Each participant received the tools, materials, and guidance needed to cultivate small-scale gardens, strengthening household food security, reducing daily expenses, and restoring a sense of autonomy and dignity during prolonged hardship.
This initiative is part of Hadhreen’s broader commitment to grassroots resilience, where women are at the centre of sustainable recovery.
To our partners and donors in the USA: thank you for investing in long-term, community-driven solutions that truly make a difference.
